Not that anyone here needs to read another endorsement of Spoo's legendary ability to turn donated cotton pants into 3 figures of cold hard cash but...

Don't know what to make of this.  Maybe he's going into rehab?  Self-imposed sanity check? Could also just mean that now he bypasses the thrifts and negotiates / acquires similar items via other means... [Curious in the event this was not pure rhetorical barb.]

got my beethoven on at boston symphony hall. No time to grab tie or pocket square, having just made waffles for 14 back at home (post church brunch with insane kids then out the door) and I didn't realize that if I didn't put my arms exactly at my sides the 1/2" cuff doesn't show (but it does, trust me, my tailor made sure...for my arms that are short and of different lengths, he tells me).

barbour English tweed coat (outlet, sample sale!)
eddie bauer green glen plain shirt (outlet)
polo vneck (thrifted)
canali wool herringbone trou (thrifted)
vintage barrie custom grade shoes (thrifted)

check out this AAAC poast on Barrie...

Pretty sure a month or so ago he said he was holding off on school/thrifting to start a real business with another forum member....high end menswear imports (wasnt there something like 50 Belvest's posted) along with that new website he is launching.

Well, there is precedent for this. Zach de Rocha quit Rage. That blew me away. When my bud told me, I was like, "He did what?!?" baldy[1].gif

Hasim Rahman had just beaten Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight championship. Word went out that he was looking for a manager promoter. Well, all these heavy hitters started putting together proposals and they were all structured like have one title defense get a payday, have another one another payday, etc. Multimillion dollar contracts. People like Donald Trump and respectable management companies submitted proposals. Don King however beat them all out. He just picked up Rahman in a limo and had $750,000 in cash in a black duffel bag and the contract. wow.gif Athletes...

Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid? FDIC only insures up to $250,000 (someone correct me if I'm wrong). If you have that much money you should know (or have someone who knows) the best way to protect your money. Earning it is only half the battle.

probably a BOA employee

I actually see quite a few middle aged white guys who are obviously wealthy wearing these around the city. Usually untucked, under a blazer with jeans. You can spot them a mile away.
