So threads have been popping up left and right about "what kind of shoes/boots should I buy?" So why don't we just make one big thread, similar to the "shoes that look better with age..." at SuFu (but with an SF aesthetic)? Maybe even a shoe evo/WAYWT...The possibilities are endless. No sneakers please. Maybe we can make a definitive sneaker thread later. I know there plenty of guys here who are pretty obsessed (myself included) with quality boots and shoes so I think this can blossom into something great. We can post pics, general questions, and all other things pertaining to quality shoes and boots. In the end maybe we can have an informative thread with a load of pictures and general info that can be useful to everyone here, instead of 20 separate threads/week

lately I've been wearing these Doc Marten shoes a lot. it's a new model, based on the same 1461 shape but made of Excel (not sure if same as the Horween Chrom-Excel) leather that seems to be exactly like the leather used on Red Wing GTs. it doesnt have the yellow stitching but a more traditional white stitching which I like better

I am a huge fan of Clarks Orginals: two pairs of desert boots (one grey suede, the other brown suede) and one pair of desert treks in beeswax leather.

I also like Campers Brothers for a different look.

Original Topsiders for warm weather.

I rotate between a Clarks DB in beeswax, a Clarks Trek in brown and a GT in black cherry.

All I need.

Alright, so I need to step my shoe game up pretty bad. I've been looking into picking up either another pair of Clarks, some Alden chukkas or some C&J chukkas. I want something in suede, that will fit with dark denim or chinos, and isn't too slim or too square toed.

What say you all?

Fok.

Huh, my size.

Which reminds me - in the summer, I wear my Land's End Alfred Sargent Desert Boots/Chukkas. With the crepe sole. Although I think I would like the slim leather sole better.
