Might as well add some fit pics to the thread, forgive my old brick of a camera

What does everyone think? I don't really need two pairs of black plastic shades, which look better? WMMK? I think you and I have similar face shape and build, besides the hair of course ; ) The Persols are quite...intimidating...in real life, very dark and menacing looking

Like wearing a black hole on your face. There is a sticker on the Prada's lens (middle pic), removed before wearing of course! LOL I REALLY want a pair that are light, 'fun', and not so dark in color or severe in shape, any recommendations?

I've seen a pair of Wayfarer-esque glasses but with a thinner and more rounded frame. Does anyone know?

Just picked up a pair of Oliver Goldsmith Strand's and I love them!

Kind of a Wayfarer-esque look to them.

longskate88, I don't know if it makes any sense to anyone else, but it really looks like those glasses are wearing you and not the other way around ... they're heavy and thick and striking, but nothing about your outfit balances them out.

Can you recommend anything that would do the opposite? I have a pair of Oakley Ice Picks that I feel more comfortable in, since they are smaller lenses, wrap around more, and thinner frames. Plus, the lenses are mirrored, so they have some 'color' to them (even if it's just reflected). I have some aviators in matte black/gray frames, but they have the same effect as the Persols. Maybe something with gold or silver frames? The small, square aviator style (Oakley wire framed ones) works on my face, but I don't like the look...

A little too "Matrix" futuristic for what I wear. I just need something casual, versatile for many different color shirts, not glass lenses (often too heavy), and have some style without being trendy.

I'm not an expert on sunglasses, but check out some of the Persols ... IMO they're way better than the oversized, dark glasses.

Style is very conservative and the lenses are very good. Probably one of the best in the business. Depends on how it looks on you.

If so, no I bought them through a retailer in London, over $100 cheaper believe it or not.

Who sells OG's on Robertson? That shop next to Lisa Klein Men?

If you like small square aviators that look a little less futuristic, check out the Oliver Peoples Aric. I have these and love them.
