I still chuckle over that pic of negative space I texted you a few weeks ago.

Believe me, this is an internal struggle I have every time I plate something.

"How would Matt plate this?"

It seems my hunger usually trumps any effort of elegance on my part. I am, however, making the conscious effort to prepare and eat smaller portions in the pursuit of proper presentation.

I've heard that it is quite chic to just dump it on the table. Add some toothpaste for a final touch.

You should only get half a post added to your post count if your entire post is

and you should get negative one if the entire post is

This is only true if you have a high tech silicone tablecloth with a fine cross-grain, and a dressing of the exact viscosity required to turn any spillage into a perfect quadrilateral.

I went to a big barbecue once where they did this with an enormous pot of polenta. It was actually kinda fun to just eat off the table.

Then again, I have been known to drink regular drip coffee, so I am a philistine.

And I added sugar to it! Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It has been 24 years since my last confession.
