Hey guys:

I am getting ready to switch to a laptop and am trying to figure out how to burn all my photos on my desktop onto a CD so I can load them on the laptop.

I have them stored in Microsoft Picture It. I am running Windows 98, and for the life of me, cannot figure out how to burn the photos onto the CD.

It can't be that hard can it?

98 doesn't do drag-and-drop cd burning. You will need to open your burning software (Nero, Easy CD Creator, Roxio, Sonic, etc) and start a new data disc, then drag about 700MB of files into it, and hit burn. Then start another and drag the next 700MB. Repeat.
