How come television shows nowadays either have a very limited theme song or no theme song? It seems back in the 70s, 80s and early 90s it was all about good themes. Anyone who is a basketball fan may remember this show

I preferred Reggie.
Probably they cut down the themes to save money and sell more ad time. Do you remember when they actually showed the ending credits for a show? Now it seems like they always squeeze that into a little window while they show advertisements.
