sounds good if it's not too much trouble. but i think i am leaning away from the opera pumps in general, despite the great last yours is on. i am still interested to see what they look like though. i could be pleasantly surprised.
no offense to all the opera pump wearers, but the real world pics have pretty much confirmed my suspicions that they aren't for me. I prefer the slip ons like chorse's that have a higher vamp and are more of a loafer style. since i don't really like patent leather, i am going to have to go with some non traditional finalists:
1)paul stuart formal calf loafers with grosgrain trim and no bow
2)crockett and jones alex wholecut on the 348 (with high shine for formal occasions)
3)vass plain to or cap toe oxford on the U (ditto)
4)velvet slip ons. I quite like shipton and heneage's paris collection velvet slip ons. they are on a nice, sleel last.
