No, but I don't know why they are now worn inside the shirt collar. That might be gay.

New headline: "Middle-Aged Man Discovers The Onion, Posts Old Stories Everywhere."

Artie, are you doing searches on the word "gay"? I can't help noticing that both the Onion links you've just posted are gay-themed.

Not if you are in a wedding. But at the local Irish pub you'll probably get your ass kicked.

I read the Onion a lot but these seemed more applicable to SF than usual.

"Thinking back, he even looked gay," Dolan continued. "His hair was always perfect and he had a well-trimmed little mustache. He dressed better than any of the other teachers, in these crisp button-down shirts and nice shoes and..."

beware of crisp button downs and nice shoes!

I hope the intent of this thread is not homophobic... ascots are not fashionable period... by today's standards. If you wear one you are doing so for affect, theatre, Halloween, who knows what. You don't wear an ascot anywhere else... particularly in a business environment. If the teacher was gay, who cares? He was obviously talented and was an invaluable learning resource for the kids. Shouldn't we be grateful that people with talent are willing to commit themselves to a career of teaching? That should be the focus... not on whether wearing an ascot makes you gay. How ridiculous...

It's "gay pride" week right now on the onion.
