Woowww, I hope your wife has never snooped on Styleforum to see what you post about, Bradford.

If I was going to post this topic I might be registering first with a throwaway user name to post it under, forum Terms of Service be damned. Breaking a wife's Terms of Service can be a LOT more painful....

edit: I'd like to concur with other posters. only solution is to wait it out!

I've had things I post on forums be the downfall of relationships but I've found none of them realize that in their lifetime, they'll never meet the people I talk to on forums. It might be "put out there for the world to see" but none of that world will ever know it was her I was talking about. For some, see: me, forums are just another outlet for anger when need be. With that being said, I'm pretty sure my current lady friend has already found out about this forum and like the other I'm on, is stalking me on this one too.

I don't get invited out when my lady friend goes out anymore because she says I hate every place she goes..so in not inviting me out she's "fixing a problem"

I'm going to be single soon.

Sounds like an idea.

Damn, I must be lucky. I haven't run into too much irrationality when it comes to the opposite sex and when I do, I just split. I have too much **** going on to deal with drama.

Hahaha, never anything that would cause a major blowup ("So you think I'm a TOTAL B*TCH, do you!?!"), just some minor embarassment.

That said, the usual strategy is simply to smile and not say anything remotely confrontational. The irrational behavior will eventually subside and there is no point (or even any hope) of attempting to understand or correcting it. That's what makes women who they are and you just have to accept them the way they are, after all, you're not perfect either. Oh, and strip clubs are fine any time of the month. Just don't come too drunk or smelling of p*ssy.

Wow - this thread has probably received more response than anything I've ever posted - thanks guys! Yep - 2 pregnancies plus breastfeeding in our case as well means this is the first time that I have dealt with this in about 5 years myself

Obviously that's why it hit me with such surprise as I had forgotten just what a pain ********** it is. Oh well, she'll get over it eventually and life will be back to normal. Oh well, I won't get out of the house tonight, but I'll live. P.S. If you guys can't go to strip clubs without getting caught, you need to come visit me in Phoenix and I'll give private lessons. And for those who seemed really concerned, we are not anywhere close to divorce. In fact, just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary last week and have been together for 10 1/2.

Bradford: please explain your strategies for how one can frequent gentlemen's clubs and enjoy the company of exotic dancers without arousing any suspicion from one's spouse.

That's what you get for being in a relationship. Tune in to Tom Leykis 97.1 Free fm on weekdays 3 - 8 pm, or 971freefm.com streaming live same day/time. You might learn a thing or two about why men have no advantage in being in any relationship these days. =] lol

Wife being a total *****? I thought that was chronic and constant for the whole damn sex!

Frequently, one will hear talk about "violence against women" as a social problem. Frankly, I think it is a tribute the essential good nature of our sex that there is so little violence against women. Comparing notes with most of my married friends, I find it really a miracle that women are not murdered or at least savagely beaten by the hundreds of thousands, if not the millions, annually in the USA alone!
