I first met Ian of @TheWorldsFinest back in the early days of internet retail, even before Styleforum was a twinkle in @j's eye. He was selling (very) high level consignment (Sartoria Attolini was a staple) and also running a streetwear store in Santa Monica. As the years progressed, so did his business, and it's with great pride that I am able to offer a pair of his exclusive, Goodyear welted, Made in Italy, Fiori di Lusso shoes for our first post-Christmas Day
Let's start the bidding... now.
As for all these auctions, 100% of the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (www.rmhc.org), an organization that helps house and feed the families of children who have to travel for medical care. It's an incredibly stressful and emotionally drainging time for families, and financial issues associated with loss of time at work, only compound those stresses. The Ronald McDonald Houses do their best to alleviate that stress by providing food and shelter and a home away from home for these families. I know that during this time, there are many worthy charities to support, and we really appreciate your taking part in these charity auctions.
The retail price is approximately $500 (USD)
We will start the bidding at $250.
The bidding will go by minimum increments of $25.
Happy Holidays to All!
The retail value of the Goodyear Fiori di Lusso Shoes is $1250, our discounted price is $499. The retail value of the Blake Fiori di Lusso loafers is $900, our discounted price is $359.
And the winner, at $325. Please email me at styleforum.net (at) gmail.com with the subject like "RMHC - Shop the Finest" for further instructions.
And soon, the penultimate auction, a very special Kapital jacket, for all of you SWD guys (and casual meswear guys. I can definitely see @Gerry Nelson pulling this off better than most of us).
