Nice pictures @EFV!!
Thanks for sharing.

I've seen at least a couple of fellow Spaniards among them.

Yes, one who says is master tailor with my same age of 37 and my grandmaster( considered the best alive in Italy) got so offended by that impersonation as to be master one has to deliver perfect garments over decades, he is unable to do a single one that would pass an Italian exam on the contrary.

My grandmaster and all Naples called him the truth, master of horrors.

Also delivered his usual ill fits but machine made when a client asked handmade or on his shop web says they invented the Neapolitan cuff three months ago( for real) when this cuff featured on a James Bond film dated on the 60's.

Also fool they own the only "handmade" shirtshop of Madrid when we all know are others ( sadly any able to do a decent shirt but a barely humanoid shaped bag of rice)or undecent handwork that is even not amateur but lower but sell as "handmade".

All the Neapolitan masters incluided some feautured on the Italian medal of the arthisanal work given no less than by the Italian Congress said that was the worst rookie thing ever made. Selfcalls" master tailor"...

The other is a blogger who i have expossed tons of times by hyping those who give him free garments( he even asks for free garments to do a review)

Reviews that are plenty of technical nonsense, tailoring fails all around and total unknowledge of this business he also do not belongs to but writtes as he was a cathedratic of Manchester textiles university( of course all laughlable nonsense by those who can unmask it).

Starting by name, Unbuttoned classic. How can be classic but unbuttoned(modern) at once with teens showing the breast with no shirt. Can be dry and wet at once? Hence how this confussed people are confussing young innocent people who wants to learn to dress properly but gets intoxicated by this people who wants to live out of a blog. Why not to get a dignous job as we the rest do?

Living out of liying for cash and knowing they are doing it already, as most of my expossed does is the less dignous thing.

This people are humillating the Made in Spain where other, on the contrary, dignous people who do not lies and fakes works daily and this need all my pushes and support instead of this other oportunist ones.

SatrodiNapoli,
Your dislike and highly critical view of tailoring and it's tradition are well known on this forum. Why don't you hold off on all criticism and negativity so as to not derail this thread. EFV is doing us a great service by sharing his images with us so we may get a first hand view of Pitti Uomo...there are no endorsements here, just a sharing of experience.
I appreciate EVF's effort and time, as do many other forum members.
Why not start your own thread that focuses on all of the absurdity, dishonesty and inauthenticity you see in Pitti. I'm sure you'll find a few posters that share your opinions.

If the mods allow me, sure will do an exposse thread, always as social service to help innocent people to get fooled and scammed by per example, some who scammed me, fake tailors, shills and bloggers, the mix what Pitti is at this time.

Is not about Pitti but around the clothes business. The post i answered to incluided several of those to avoid and i consider is a must to help beginners to stay away from dishonest ones.

Once they have lost their cash, there is no way back. So this rushes better than see disguised people on a Mardy Grass.

Perhaps one of the mods can help @SartodiNapoli and move his posts from this thread to his own new anti-Pitti thread, so this one's cleaned up?
(FWIW, Sarto, I do appreciate your input to this forum and your critical stance. But there's a time and place for everything.)

@SartodiNapoli , feel free to create a thread where you can discuss how much you dislike Pitti. Keep it OUT of this thread. Erik is doing a great job showcasing this event for SF. If you don't like it, go somewhere else and talk about it so all others can continue to enjoy the pictures here. Thanks.

Thank you for all the comments guys! Sarto is certainly entitled to his opinions on Pitti. It's just that, I think we all know them by now, and it's not exactly what this thread is about.

There will be a lot of people from outside of SF visiting this thread, and it would be nice if they can find the pictures. I will, after Pitti is over, try to have them all gathered in the first post, under spoilers, though.

+1

If Sarto could be a little less raging and a bit more constructive in his posts I personally think he could "save" a lot more people.

There are good and bad things in the world. Some only see the bad and some the good. To this day I have not seen Sarto praise a single thing but I'm not following all his posts.

If you think this "Sartodinapoli" guy has aggressive, negative, and vitriolic posts on Styleforum, you have not read his texts on Dressedwell:

http://www.dressedwell.net/members/sartodinapoli.388/

To this day I cannot recall a single positive or kind comment from the user, so I've blacklisted him many months ago and I hope he will be banned at some point. He seems like a bad person who really should have better goals in life than vomiting hate on clothes forums.

I also blacklisted this poster months ago.

Btw most of those post are under dumb threads and are humoristic.

There are a lot of envy for the people who are really pros and work surrounded by the very best real tailors of the world that got the same opinion as me.

Others can't handle the truth or maybe are related to those who i expose and almost every day got pms thanking me to have evitated him being scammed, simply as that.

Best wishes to the good hearthed people.

Gotta say I do enjoy Sartodi's rants, and I'm sure there's a lot of truth in them. But yeah...probably better to have a separate thread.

What we haven't done yet, and which I think would be interesting, is to pick out a few specific fits and criticise them. (Both positive and negative.)

^ Seems that hot weather doesn't stop some people from deploying the Pitti Overcoat Shoulder Drape. Gotta love that briefcase though.

^ Q: What's wrong with this photo?

A: The too-tight DB jacket isn't on Lino.

^ Weird, but in a good way. Yohji Yamamoto?

^ Keep these men away from the Napoletana sauce.

Restraint. Elegance. Eggplant.

^ Simply excellent.

EFV, great looking suit you're wearing! Nice wide lapels, and fuller trousers than your usual ones. Good to see you're one of the few wearing socks as well.
Are you going to add that suit to your brand's collection, or is E-F-V on the back burner?

This is a model we ae currently working on. Some kinks to work out, but will hopefully be released in SS 16.
