yeah go get it checked out. i couldn't unscrew a water bottle for over a month before i got checked out and found out i needed surgery. Better to get it done sooner rather than later.

I've been to sports therapist/PT/chiro licensed person twice. :( Done stim etc.

Doesn't feel right when I rotate my wrist or when I do that stretch where you put your palm flat on the table at 90 degrees to your arm. Both palm down and palm up I feel tightness. Get occasional pain still at certain angles.

They gave me a series of exercises to keep doing and monitor for improvement.

I had a pretty bad case of sepsis a couple of weeks ago and lost a few minor hip muscles, and even though it sounds ridiculous losing the option of dressing how I want is really depressing. Currently it's all sweats and untied Roshes. Hospital steeze.

Walked into Barney's in Boston today and noticed they had a long row devoted solely to square, leather backpacks and several racks of just kenzo, HBA, and Givenchy. They're thirsty for that Chinese money.

So there's a couple problems with using fish leather for shoes:

It's really thin and papery feeling, I don't know how welting would hold up on fish leather. Fish leather also doesn't have much structure so you would still need to use conventional leathers for things like the lining and soles.

Fish skins are also really small, you can't even make a single shoe out of one whole skin. The Attilla shoes mentioned earlier had an unsightly seam across the middle of the shoe because they probably didn't have a leather big enough to use for the whole vamp. Even if you're okay with adding more seams to the shoe, keep in mind that using several leather from several different skins adds a greater risk of color and scale variation.

At 41, which significant injuries and health crap all piling up, I'm starting to think that maybe he had a point. Maybe the right course of action is to job slowly for 15 minutes a day, do a few pushups and crunches. Do a plank and a few pullups if you are feeling crazy. Rinse and repeat for 60 years, and you'll be laughing at the ex-athletes who an hardly walk.
I think it's very genetic/ luck/ mental state dependent. I know a guy who I used to climb with in his 60's, looks like a thin santa in his ice suit, who climbed harder than nearly every 20yr old I met. Granted this is a very mentally demanding sport rather than purely physical performance but he kept up on the approaches and sometimes even passed 20 somethings on very steep, very deep snow approach hills with a heavy ice climbing pack. Last year the same guy broke his hip climbing, and was back climbing in less than 6 months. Last I heard from him he was at his off the grid house in Montana gearing up for remote adventures. He's an anomaly but also an example that some can go hard and continue doing so. I meet people in their 60s and 70s at marathons/ultras all the time. I personally don't think I'll be going as hard as my santa buddy, but I feel like if I did just did a maintenance workout like the one you describe I would go crazy. Lost a bit too much to climbing and I'm not in the right location now to pursue that sport so I mostly just run far for now. I'd like to do a true adventure race with a team at some point. You did these out west?

I went straight to a hand/wrist doctor cause i was worried (with a referral from general doc for insurance reasons). God speed though!

chiropractors are useless and potentially dangerous, the only reason insurance covers 30 visits a year or whatever it is is because their union membership dues are mandatory and so they have a viable lobby force as compared to physical therapists who, if you visit a good one, can be much more beneficial than docs even.

one of my buddies specializes in sports rehab and deals with professional athletes he has kept me functioning quite well during my reckless years of playing soccer without proper precautions.

How do taupes and greys and browns, as well as the occasional red and blue, get slipped into "tacky?"

I meant because they are hard to wear well it's easy to just end up looking tacky.

Anyone has experience with yoox 8 brand? Can't even find a website, maybe it's only available at Yoox. Looking for these suits specifically (navy and charcoal flannels)
I have a down jacket from them. I'm happy with it. It has held up well.

Mine is fairly well regarded (does work with an MLS team and various combat sports athletes). I dunno.

The only reason people go to chiropractors is because they are too uninformed or lazy for physical therapy. Only you can keep yourself well.Docs and chiros only treat the results of your failure whereas P/Ts guide you in ways to properly care for the muscle and skeletal systems and bring them back from injury but you gotta do the work . After major surgery the surgeons don't send you to a chriopractor to heal

Practically all chiropractic facilities are a joke, slinging all kinds of snake oil that schmucks fall for. Seriously, make a '1st' appointment and 1/2 of them will attempt to tell you something about how one of your legs is longer than the other, yet they can fix it with their in house products. Lol it's unreal how common that 'diagnosis' is and people buy it.

@englade321
I fully agree with you saying only you can keep yourself well. However, in regards to PTs, the majority I've known (and that's a lot) were all pretty lazy, didn't push clients, treated their job as fairly clock in, clock out, etc.

The exception to this is the individuals who were affiliated with a sports team or sports specific rehab clinic. Some of those guys are fantastic and incredibly passionate about what they do. I couldn't believe the intensity I had even the first days of PT with those guys back when I tore my ACL.
