Anybody have suggestions on a belt to match the 403? I wasn't planning on getting this model but found it online today for 20% off so I pulled the trigger. Should arrive this week but it occurred to me I'm gonna need a new belt now.

It's tough to say, because it depends how you want to wear it. Ashland makes chromexcel belts, which would match in finish, but I usually just find the closest tanner goods standard belt.

Ashland looks like it will suit my needs. Thanks for the suggestion.

Andrew Lincoln and Steve Yuen of The Walking Dead, both sporting Indy 403's on the red carpet. Good choice, fellas...

Anyone have experience with these new Indy make-ups at EPAULET? I am unloading my regular 403 for something with a lug sole.

Natural CXL Indy won't go wrong. Country Calf Indy boots would be a little bit redundant if I had 403s. Just IMO.

That's a nice sole, but there's still exposed leather...it's not a full lug. It really just depends on your intentions for use. Because it's not a full lug, I don't think they're better for wet weather.

At this point, I see Indy's a dress casual boot, and if I was looking for something with a full lug for more rugged conditions, I'd go with other makers.

^^

All great points. I just happen to always love Indy's with commando sole. These ones with brass eyelets does the trick for me to consider switching.

I sometimes wished my 403's had a more aggressive soles after I slipped pretty bad on smooth painted floors at work( I do walk more careful now). I work in business causal office and Indy's work well on most days.

Bottom line is I am looking for excuse for new shoes.biggrin.gif

They have my size still…hard to pass up. I have too many boots, but they really are stunning.

Those Natty CXL Indys are hot! Wish they had my size.

My wallet thanked my when I saw the natty CXL Indys ran out of my size.

Now eyeing the country grain, does anyone have some "out in the wild" shots?
