i recieved these moccasins and the tag said "slippers", i guess they are for indoors, but i was wondering if it would be ok to wear them outdoors (they are rubber soled). i was thinking w/ jeans and t-shirt/worn in polo, but i dont want to look like those people in school who just woke up and walk around with sandals and socks. im a sneaker guy so your help is appreciated. thanks.

there is no way to wear those and not look like you woke up late for class imo.

i wear my minnetonka's everywhere. they're regular double bottom mocs and wear really well, although after more than a year of wear, they're getting a hole in the bottom. i really like the quoddy trail ring boots; they're on my list

Moccasins are definitely 'in' for this fall/winter, though I don't think that the variety you bought are necessarily acceptable for outside wear. Generally, I think they are a really great shoe and a more comfortable alternative to a loafer or a lace-up. I wrote about moccasins on SavoirVivre New York. Barney's makes a cool pair as well as the Minnetonkas that were previously stated. Check out the post here: http://www.savoirvivreny.com/2007/10...dorsement.html
