1) Small questions kind of thread, meaning should've gone there
2) The colors look good together, but in clothing, the more attention-getting color almost always should be above the waist.

So, are you saying that wearing the green piece on top and the navy blue as the pants would be better?

Yes, despite clothing forums' general aversion to blue non-suit pants. Granted, if that is a sweater, a contrasting visible shirt color (white, pink, etc.) with it might put enough focus above the waist.

Your outfit is a pair of khakis and a sweater/sweatshirt. It looks fine. Stop overthinking this and feeling the need to get SF 'approval."
(Though if the sweater/sweatshirt is tucked in, I would not do that.)

Is that what a style forum is about? Getting information as much as needed, the pros and cons. The top is a navy blue husky polo, and the pants is considered as chinos.

I mean, this is a basic question. So many people come to forums for the most basic ****.
The answer is that if you own it and like it....wear it.
Would you really allow forum members who you don't know dick about to dictate such a basic issue as yours?

I mean...come on.

There's nothing wrong with the question, albeit it probably didn't deserve its own thread. There is not enough educational discussion on Style Forum - there are aesthetic rules, but not everyone instinctively realizes them and ought to want to know.

Re the Trey Songz photo, yes that looks okay, partly because he has such a 'pretty,' attention-getting face and due to the jacket distracting from the pants, but the outfit is not very practical and the pocket square is silly accessorizing.

I don't know who the guy is, But why is he clutching his crotch? Is it because the trousers are too tight? Or is it a failed attempt to hide the horrible belt?
