It incredible when you think about it that he's basically turning down business all the time, with the amount of incidents of ignored orders in this thread.

I actually asked him on this and he told me that his factory is working under capacity. around 70% of max capacity. The problem is apparently he sort of QA's each electronic order first to see whether there's mistakes in them for him to correct

Just ordered a shirt,
It's quite exciting for me, it's my first MTM shirt and my first CC buy online.
But, my order was:

And if that fabric wasn't available i chose:

100% Italian Cotton

Removable stays,
New Italian High Dual Buttons Classic Spread
Wallstreet style(White collar & white cuff)

They have four-digit numbers starting with a 2. Here and here. While I am looking at the last page, I find 20 or so fabrics added in the last week or so. The numbers now go to 2754. Three new french oxfords too

I'll ask the question again: When you guys order from Jantzen, do you send emails to Ricky or the "[email protected]" address? Or are they the same? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use the "info" address. That's also the address from which Ricky's outbound emails come.

The instructions regarding the "new" fabrics has been in its present location for far longer than a week.

I don't have any inside information, but the guidance provided by others on SF indicates that your order will probably be ignored. Alternatively, Ricky *might* email you to request that you pick replacement fabrics. You're probably better off placing a new order with fabrics from the "new" fabrics pages.

Those instructions have been there for a long time. Maybe a year. Emails like this are not often answered. If I were you, I would order again from the latest fabrics. The worst-case scenario is you end up with two shirts. And that's not bad.

I was wondering when the names of the fabrics changed. When I placed my last order, in september 2007, the fabrics were divided between regular ones and "jkt" ones (nicer, a small price increase).

The "jkt" fabrics seem to have disappeared. Does anybody know if they correspond to the "Jantzen*2****" fabrics we can see now on the website?

Although, u may get a different answer today than the one you get tomorrow, based on my experience with them.

Damn, I ordered on 12/11 and have heard nothing. This is not good if you ordered after and have been confirmed.
