Hey forum!
Just had this pair of jeans altered to fit me, but now I have a larger issue on my hands, the fade. Looking for ideas or someone that can fix them. Any responses are greatly appreciated.

Yea that basically describes it. I have two pairs like this, and just wanted them too fit nicely. Picked up some sack cloth and have started my fade experiment.

Unfortunately, even if they were in style I would not partake in the wearing of such things. They are currently being washed after being hit a second time with the sack cloth. I could take a photo of the other pair, but those are much more acceptable, yet still unacceptable.

Third and probably final, the grain doesnt appear to be the same but blend a slight bit better. May try another pass and/or find alternative approaches. Sucks to have to do this to two pairs of new 7's.

I find that getting my stuff tailored is the only true way to get a true fit. This may had been an expensive learning experience. If nothing else hopefully this thread helps someone.

Gotcha. You may have an abnormal shape. There are so many different fits available, from so many jeans makers...

I vary from 32-34 waist depending on cut and manufacturer, I like an inseam of 30.5-31 and a leg opening of 8 and a big fan of 7 for all mankind. The problem I've found is the legs of jeans are too "baggy", as you can see they groomed them down.
