This is what you should often shoot for, RTC.

Still trying to figure out my picture set up. For some reason, in this lighting, my camera has a really hard time focusing on some of my jackets.

I hate you. You're like a machine. Everything you crank out is good.
The question is can RTC accomplish something like this with thrifting?

Cheers FM:

I'm curious about Ring Jackets having seen them on Tumblr for a while now. The things that jump out at me from your jacket are the high gorge and narrower lapel than I would have thought, though I suspect that's still 3.25 inches at least. The shoulders seem nice and natural (not built up). Your thoughts? Fully canvassed?

My Ring Jacket has nearly 3.75" lapels.

I've just measured mine, since I'm at home not in the office and have a tape-measure, and they are exactly 3.25. I don't know what size jacket you wear, but one possibility is that Ring Jacket do the sensible thing of having lapels widths appropriate to the size of the jacket (I'm at the bottom end: 36S), and another (not incompatible) one is that they do different lapel widths on different models.

Edit: Tie looks strangely dark on my computer screen. Darker than on my phone. It's supposed to be dark brown. Whatevs, as the kids say.

Nice ensemble. Although some details are obscured by the shot here being a little silhouetted, some things are revealed. Is this suit OTR or MTM / bespoke? I ask because I've noticed on the fits you've posted from this angle and in this location that your hips appear* to be relatively wide compared to your upper body / shoulders (as with plenty more guys than would like to admit it!), and this jacket draws attention to that rather than compensating for it. Just some food for thought...

*terms and conditions apply... i.e. I could be completely wrong and it might be the angle or the stance or any number of other things.

It's RTW Sartoria Partenopea. I do have wider hips than usual, I wear about a size 35 trousers. The low angle distorts things a little (short photographer), but yeah, I won't be able to hide my hips completely, no matter what I do. My shoulders are (luckily) wider than my hips though, as can be seen in the following pics:
