Apparently you haven't heard of a fellow by the name of ridethecliche. Rudals on the other hand, while slow to start, has shown major improvement and clearly listens to the solid (mostly) advice in this thread.

Haha, you're right: RTC probably takes the cake.

rudlas is the ****. you know why? because unlike a thousand other thick skulled **** heads here, he is open to learning. he doesnt blindly defend his bad choices, he is open to listening, and he knows where to stand his ground. that is why he is well liked.

rudals should be very proud to have been the impetus of this great thread. and anyone who has beef with rudals can eat my taint sweat.

D00d, chillout. Drunk again?

A couple of reasons:

- His meltdowns were so over the top they became disturbingly endearing.

- He wasn't actually very thick skulled. Just very bad at applying advice. There are a lot of folks who won't even hear advice, much less try applying it.

And just to head this one off, I don't think that Evolve was trying to beef with Rudals. The internet is a wonderful place for an offhand remark to be construed as more than it was intended to be. So please, Evolve, don't go to Maryland and inquire with Stitchy just how one goes about eating a liquid.

Heh, thanks for sticking up for me. I'm not trying to beef with Rudals, and I love this thread. Indeed, he's come a long way and I like his self-deprecating attitude. Much love for Stitchy, too. :p

In the interest of political correctness, we now refer to them as homeless people. Carry on.

And, yeah, the others are right about Rudals - he was misapplying some knowledge and advice which is part of the natural learning curve. He didn't pull the move that the true thick heads pull and try to argue against blatant common sense and logic to demonstrate why their ****** ass outfits are "good".

Those posters still lurk here but they've managed to find threads where people either don't bother to correct them, or somehow managed to become a collective of semi-lovable ****-ups.

Besides, without Rudals this awesome thread would have never existed! How's the weight loss going Rudals?
Thanks for asking.
I was complaining that my weight had increased by about 10 pounds, give or take 2 pounds. (That's 4.53 kg). Yes, I have been saying that for about a year now.
So I was quite dumbfounded when I tried on my suits (see WAYWRN) because they all fit me just like they did when I weighed less.
My wife mentioned that I look more fit and my upper body shows signs of muscle gain.
You put two and two together and arrive at the conclusion that the weight gain is mainly attributable to muscle gain.
Not saying, I am all buff or anything but my chest, shoulders, and arms have gotten thicker/firmer/etc.

That's great! The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn naturally, the easier it is to stay lean! Keep it up!

Now, I may talk like an immature nutcase and act all goofy here, but this is the internet and I try to have fun.
In real life, I am a perfectly normal person, I hope (gulp). Just ask Claghorn and Stitchie who's seen me in person.
(I asked Stitchie out on a date this Saturday but he turned me down btw).

Shoot, if y'all knew what I do in real life and where I work, y'all will be surprised and I might be fired from my job if they saw some of the things that I said.

At any rate, I came to SF to learn and to improve. If someone gives me a feedback (negative or positive) I take it and try to develop and grow. I am here with an open mind and respectful of "senior" members. If one of them says that I look like $#!T, then I try to figure out what I did wrong by engaging in a conversation. I don't try to defend myself or try to rationalize something that I am doing wrong. I am my hardest critic! On the other hand, I do talk a bit childishly or immaturely when we're just talking. That's one area that I need to fix. Like one time, I saw n00bs posting like crazy but no one was critiquing them and I thought WAYWRN was going down the toilet. So I "tried" to step in and be blunt and direct and tried to rouse the senior members to comment. (Note: I looked back at WAYWRN II and it was pretty harsh but very constructive back then).

I am not "great" and still feel like a n00b but just look at the progress that's been made. Thanks to some real good people. Do I have to mention names? You know who you are. Thanks again!
