The suede bals are on the U last. I am a size US9.5D (slightly narrower than medium), and EU42.5 fits me pretty well in U. Some people size up 0.5 size in U, so YMMV. Depends on how tight the P2 is.

I have same size in P2 and F.

Oops, austerity brogues is the F, suede bals U. Trying to decide between the two and typed the wrong last. I think I "need" a suede bal more than an austerity brogue.

I cannot fathom how not being able to buy a Formosa suit at this price could be considered a blessing. :puzzled:

It's the pants that are stopping me. Would've bought one in each fabric otherwise. Started to consider the birdseye navy for a dressier navy blazer but I have no idea what I'd do with the pants (and can't remember how textured the birdseye really is in person)

What is the issue with the trousers?

Hi Greg, I came by once and actually tried on the trousers -- nothing wrong with them as far as anyone else should be concerned, they were just weren't the right cut for me at all (needed a lot more rise, thighs a little slim and would need the waist taken in so far that they would need to be re-cut). I was really impressed with the suits though and it pains me that I'm a tough fit for trousers in general.

Twice this week I have had people come up to me and ask me where I got my coat in social contexts where such a question would typically not be expected.

The Luigi Bianchi Mantova grey twill polo overcoat is definitely an eye catcher.

I told myself to stay away from the site...didn't happen. Just grabbed the Oliver Spencer Navy Portland Blazer. If the Formosa in my shoulder size was "1 longer, I'd have one of those two. Great prices.
I'm the opposite. I had a Formossa in my cart and just removed it. As much as I want to like it the problem is the shoulder width jumps from 18.1 in a 48 to 18.9 for the 50. It feels like they skipped a step. My best fitting suits all have shoulders that measure at 18.5 and chest at 21 inches. Admittedly, if the measurements work for you, it's an amazing opportunity.

Can someone comment on sizing for the Valstar down parkas, they are exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. But I'm typically a 36/46, would the 48 fit me?

Going strictly by chest and shoulder measurements, I am between a 52/54. But having tried both, I am significantly more comfortable in the 54 and would have been fine if there were suck thing as a 55.

I hope that helps.
