Hi, which colour is your buckingham in?

They are "dark brown", 2 yrs old. I recently cleaned them from old polish using "chemically clean petrol". And since that I have only used Burgol neutral Shoe cream which gives them just a tad more life and patina.

Strand: burgundy (or tan if they still have it)
Buckingham: Brown (i think dk brown is a little too dark)
Aldwych: Black (if formal), otherwise dark brown

If you use a lot of darker coloured pants like jeans or such, then go for a bit lighter colours. I personally like a bit of contrast between shoes and pants. Unless its a formal occasiin in which cas black oxfords are always right.

It probably is a good idea if you want the exact colour. I buy belts from here and there and try to find a close match. Doesnt need to be exact since there is a good distance between the shoe and belt.

Take a look at the link below on last sizing. Was your Kempton in the F or G width ? The F width would fit more or less the same as the Capital. I actually find the capital to be a bit roomy in width as well (although heel fits fine). To summarize - I find Capital to be true to size in heel width and instep but a bit wide and roomy in the toebox.

I have been contemplating buying the Cornwall on the duke last. It seems like a narrower version of the capital last. Question is whether I go down half a size.

I think I had an F withd, I will go true to size then. Its just a drag to pay shipping expenses to change sizes

Correct me if I am wrong. I am thinking that the loake buckingham is slightly narrower and longer as compared to the loake strands, in the same size.

Shoe project.. Your buckingham poisoned me. I am contemplating between a dark brown buckingham and burgundy strands. I wonder which should I get first.

Hi Loake fans
Anyone got the Outlaw and could share their experience in terms of fit, colour, satisfaction?

FYI. Gilt is having a sale on Loake right now. Most of the sizes seem pretty small (nothing over a US 11) but for those with little feet; have at it.

Are they selling the 1880 line? The prices seem okay at best right?
