Hi.

Two briefcases from Swaine adeney. the first is a new wrap around, the second is a recently restored piece that's been in my family since the 60s.

Can someone please identify this bag and is it still in production...it looks like a Swaine Adeney bag but I
usually see this bag as a triple-gusset and this bag looks like a single...thank you.

I saw this particular vintage 1960's Hermes on the 'bay, I was thinking about it until I noticed the faint (but still visible) monogram on the flap...

Doesn't look like swaine to me. I'm no expert but the handle is too thin and simple, and I've never seen Swaine do riveted strap loops. Looks like a number of less well-known english vintage bags I've seen on ebay. I could be wrong. Swaine can probably do a single gusset, it would look better than this IMO.

What do you think about "The Bridge" briefcases? About the look and if possible, about the quality.
Especially about this one: The Bridge Story Uomo:

I really like the look and I think the quality could be very good. Right now I am looking for a briefcase which is in a similar size of this one - about 40cm wide with a minimum of 2 compartments (1 for my laptop, one for other stuff).

The Italian company: The Bridge
