Hey, I've been looking at APC for a while and I think I'm ready to buy. Just have a few questions.

I'm interested in the APC Petit Standard. Seems like most people size down 2. I'm 6'1 and I know all APC jeans are 34 in length. Once I get the jeans they'll be too tight, so if I'm 6'1 and the jeans are 34 in length, do you think they will be too short? If I size down 2 will I be able to sag at one point so the jeans aren't too short?

The jeans posted above me seem like the ideal fit I would like.

Well hell! Thanks, fellas. They're on their way back. The wait for the perfect jean continues. I really lack the patience necessary for mail order. Again, thank you all for the help.

I'm wearing petit standards above and I am exactly your height. I'm pretty clueless about raw denim, but maybe you can gauge from the pictures how the inseam will suit you.

Unless you want mad staxx, I think you'll be fine. I'm also 6'1 and a 34 inseam has never been a problem for me.

Hey guys I'm interested in the APC New Standard. If I wanted a slighty slouchy fit in it but still slim -straight fitting (not skin tight skinny or baggy), what size should I aim for? I like to sag a little bit (slouchy), I don't know if that matters not too much though. I normally wear a 32x32 in regular jeans and I'm also 5'8" so I'm not too big.

You'll probably get more instructive advice if you post your actual waist measurement.

Sizing down 1 from your usual size should give you the fit you want. I sized down from 36 to 35 for the same reason.

The fabric on the button fly on my indigo NS's is pulling apart at about 1/8" from the points where each button is sewn into the fabric. This is true of every button except the top-most button on the waistband. It's not yet tearing but i would say it's pretty close (i can see the white threads). I've worn these for less than two weeks and although still on the tight side they fit quite well and I would not want to size up.

Wondering if others have experience this severe pulling around the buttons, right under the vertical orange stitch on the button side.

How does Context Clothing measure? For size 32 it says waist measurement is 34. Is that before stretching?

With APCs, you have to account for two things: vanity sizing and stretching, which APC has more than most. Figure you'll get two inches of each and go accordingly.
