Guy must have been pretty well off. He went to Harvard and had these items made during his freshman and sophomore years.

Okay, I can't believe this. Twice in one week I've had cause to refer to noted industrialists and philanthropists from my city. First it was Harry Hole and his relationship with Harry Hyman (see thrift thread) and now it's Sandy MacTaggart.

Wes, is this same guy who you were referring to as a Harvard grad? Because the dates on this guy all seem to line up. It's be interesting to hear the story of this garment.

"Mr. Mactaggart’s interests have included boating, scuba diving, flying, shooting, car racing, and collecting books, oriental textiles and Chinese paintings."

How I could only imagine having this as the noted interests of my life.

You might need to reconsider your wig quote from pnutpug.

+1, lol! Unreal find (I assume that it's yours,) congrats!

I can't possibly follow that up... but here's a cool Navy Velvet Blazer that has plush, soft velvet. It's also a slim-fitting 36 R! biggrin.gif
