Ok, I am new here so forgive me. I need some advice on some self branding. I am starting a small batch, hand made leather company. I am not looking to make the typical, hokey leather wallets and stuff. I am inspired by more classical designs. I have a brand already, and a logo, designed by me. I have my own designs for my leather goods as well. I have been selling here and there to people I know and it has helped me push my skills forward and also buy stuff to help with making things consistent in quality and design. My goal is to have enough to sell online on my own website, which I have already, and in small boutiques around my local area. Maybe if things go well, I can have a few artisans work under me crafting while I design, but we'll wait and see for that.

Now for the question after that long preface. Should I become my brand since my brand is me? Since this is still in its infancy, I have a full time job. At work we don't have a dress code and wear jeans and t-shirts, which is fine. But outside of work, shouldn't I rep my brand and dress like I am a designer? Would you ever see Christian Dior dressed in sloppy cloths? Should I live what I am making? If I come across someone and show them something I made, shouldn't I look like I made it and not like a jeans wearing slob? Not that jeans are bad, it's just I never really had to have a sense of style. Should I find a style for myself to look more like I understand fashion?
