^That overcoat should be in a museum, it's truly bizarre to see the year "11" on a clothing item and realize that it's 1911. 
It's still hot out there - ultra-lightweight and perfect 60's-cut Saks Fifth Avenue "University" Steel Blue-Gray suit. 3/2 roll, sack...etc. 40 R.

Found a BB sack 3/2 roll POW suit this weekend. Pics forthcoming. Somehow, it fits me perfectly, and I'm a very hard fit at 38L. Construction on the suit is astounding: blows modern day BB out of the water. This thing is mint and, wait for it, from 1942.

Sorry for the poor iPhone pictures. I'll throw together a fit pic one of these days. I'm a slim 38L and despite being a sack, the fit is spot on. Natural shoulders, 2/3 roll, flat front, big cuffs . . .

Best for last - so we've all seen pants with slant pockets, normally offset from the seam that travels vertically up the pant - look how the seam actually follows the slant of the pocket!

^ I dig that suit a lot! It's not from 1942 though, that's just a code. The blue 346 label started in the 70's, look for the Amalgamated Textile Workers tag. Regardless, it's a killer suit - 38 L is a bastard to find. A well-tailored sack will fit even better (IMO) than a darted jacket, don't believe the dart hype!

If you ever outgrow that BB, holla atcha boy.
However though, I dont think the 1942 on the label signifies the year of production. I have a similar one that says 1952 on it, but was made in the 70s.
