Up for sale is an incredible new-with-tags Polo Ralph suit. Made in Italy by Corneliani. Color is classic navy with white pinstripes.

I call this suit "Poor Man's Tom Ford" because it has a slim cut, wider lapels, and slightly roped shoulders. Those three characteristics are notable on Tom Ford suits.

The fabric on this suit is particularly nice. Four-season weight 100% virgin wool with an incredible soft hand. I can't emphasize that enough. Drapes really well too. Corneliani sources great fabric from the best Italian and British mills for its PRL suits.

Tagged a size 41R, but can work as a 40R. See approximate jacket measurements below

Specs:

-Made in Italy by Corneliani for Polo Ralph Lauren
-Half canvas construction
-Slightly roped shoulders (Tom Ford / James Bond style --- see: http://www.styleforum.net/t/245858/shoulder-expression)
-High armholes
-Two-button stance
-Double vents
-Four season weight 100% virgin wool fabric
-Jacket fully lined with cupro bemberg
-Slim cut jacket
-Slim, flat front pants
-Will generally need little or no alterations (aside from the hem and maybe the sleeves)

Great stuff again, JRD.

Isn't RL Polo closer to 3/4 canvass? I noticed that their canvassing covers a larger area than most other 'half canvassed' pieces.

Not sure how this hasn't sold, this is a fantastic looking staple suit, and some of my favorite go to suits are PRL. This would be mine if it fit me!!

Beautiful piece.
Unfortunately.. any jacket surpassing 29" in length will make me look like a scarecrow.

GLWS!

Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, this suit is tagged a 41 Regular. It's a good fit for people 40/41 inch chest people who are 5'10 and above
