Do you seriously believe that any CEO will care whether you had a dimple in your tie or not at a meeting? BTW, yes, put the dimple in.

Tie dimple is no less frivolous than most of the nonsense coming out of their mouths so why not?
You care, I care, others on the board care(to whatever degree), why not a CEO?

And if they were really so busy, competent or marginally intelligent, would they be taking the meeting that has spawned the question?

Without a doubt, these are some of the worst examples of how to put a dimple in a tie..
Surely someone can post a correctly tied tie.
The most atrocious ones are the photos of half Windsors, Pratt, and Shelby knots.
Do you not know how to put in a dimple correctly, or just do not know any better?

Troll lo lo

Decided to edit out all the sarcasm.

Spoo knows how to tie a tie.

[2nd edit] I'm suffering from editor's remorse; it was damn fine sarcasm.

The CEO may also think badly of you if you do not wear a pocket square. Also, wearing a suit with roped shoulders may leave a bad impression. Have you thought about the color of your shirt? Probably shouldn't wear balmoral shoes because they may look too fancy. To cuff or not to cuff: That is the question. The CEO may not be impressed if you wear a pocket square.

Or maybe what impresses "a CEO" is the stuff you talk about, for which he is spending his CEO time. These are my thoughts- I accept your generously offered gratefulness.
