I wear 40 in Common Projects. 40 in the SLP classic white high tops fit slightly smaller than the CP Achilles in 40, and 40.5 in the SLP fit slightly larger than the CP Achilles in 40. I went with the 40.5 and put in a thin insole.

The sneakers fit half a size bigger. Depends on your feet, if you tend to have wide feet than I would advise staying TTS. If you have narrow feet than 0.5 size down would fit perfectly snug.

Anyone here own any of the SLP suede boots? I like them, but I'm thinking you'll get a lot of denim fade onto them from jeans. Never owned a suede shoes or boots before. Is staining from jeans a problem?

I have the Wyatt chelsea boots in ochre suede. this really depends on the jeans, not the boots… if you're wearing raw jeans, then yes, the indigo will most likely bleed onto/into the suede. if you're wearing faded black jeans or something, you'll probably be fine. I have two black pairs of 15.5 cm's, and I haven't experienced any dye bleeding.

Has anyone ever taken in their SLP jeans at the waist?

Recently picked up a pair of D02 wax denim, tried the 30's fit nearly perfect at the waist, but way to tight on my legs to the point i struggled trying to sit. Went with the 31, a lot more comfort all around but a bit of extra space in the waist, so i'm thinking about taking it in.

Any suggestions? Leave it as is, or take it in?

i did have a 31 pair that i got take take in, looked akward cause even the 30 was a bit too big, in the end i sold my 31 tailored to a 30 and got a size 29 which was really tight at first but now fit like heaven !

normal that your struggling to sit or thing like that the first week ,there new ! they will strecht a bit everywhere dont worry. there super skinny cut, i dont understand why you guys cop those and complain about the tightness, there supossed to fit like LEGGINGS, if you want something slim take the 17,5 !

lol if anything, there's been one consistent advice in this thread:

DON'T SIZE *UP* ON THE 15.5 CM'S

yet, people keep doing it/asking about it…

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I'll have to think it over some.

Speaking of which... is it true that the first season's release for the denim zipper jeans are actually larger than the current season? Are they like a straight or slim fit?

How much would you guys say a used one is worth right now?

not sure about that, the jeans do stretch a good amount in the waist. personally i went down 2-3 from my actual waist measurement, and they fit pretty good for me.

of course, they're very skinny in the thigh and leg

I'm assuming you guys go by your hip measurements? These are meant to sit low on the hips. The only thing that troubles me is the fact that the vanity sizing is from 3-4. A pair of 30 could easily measure up to 34 give or take.

Say my hip measures 33-34 inches, do you purchase the pair that measures 32-33 and let it stretch out to 33-34 or do you purchase the pair that measures exactly 33-34? If that's the case, if you take the pair that measures exactly the same as your hip measurement. After you take stretching into account, the jeans will "overstretch".

yeah its a pretty inexact science. generally, i look at the jean composition. pure cotton or high cotton blends will stretch more than high polyester/nylon count jeans.

so my waxed 15.5s, 98% cotton/2%PU, i sized 30, they came in measuring at 31, and it stretched out pretty perfect for my 33 hips.

a pair of my washed diors, it was a cotton/nylon blend, no stretch really at all.
