I'm trying to choose a tie - Page 2

Looks fine to me. Jacket sleeves might be a touch too long if you have time to fix it.

Yes, I really wanted to escape from the blue/blue/blue combination, that's why I decided to choose the brown tie. I also think it looks great with my chocolate brown shoes and belt. I'm considering a white or beige pocket square.

Definitely white.

Yes I think this is the best fit for you.

Best of luck!

That doesn't look festive enough, especially as worn by a serious-looking man. Brown with, for example, blue dots would look better.

I thought that is what he is already wearing? See the picture above - the tie is brown with blue dots. However, they don't show well in this photo due to the poor lighting.

The wedding is tomorrow and yes the tie is brown with light blue dots. The picture above was posted just to add some shape to these clothes. I promise to show some pictures from the photographer. Thanks again lads!

Okay, that was an oversight - but the dots on the tie are too small. Probably too late now.

Also, are you an American? In my experience it only seems to be Americans who dislike black shoes with blue suits for some reason. It is a classic English business look so it seems weird to me that anyone should dislike it. The OP is in Bulgaria so may not share your peculiar distaste.

Hi, yes, American.  I agree that black goes with a blue suit... It's just not my preference.

Agreed! It enhances the suit without getting washed out.

Nice photo!  I would recommend shortening the jacket sleeves a little, but lookin' sharp!
