He does . . . for grenadines, of which I have taken advantage, but not for point-ended knits (or any knits, I think).

ah i misunderstood you. oops.

no joke, i was thinking of including you in my reply to SB. i should have just asked a general question, or tried to name everyone that was involved before. now i just feel rude. :(

ill now mention CPE, as he also chimed in before. i dont recall who else.

stitch - tie looks fine to me. Let's see it worn - not with a white shirt please. Go with blue

Thanks. WIth two grenadines in black, I don't need a black knit, but I could use a nave, maybe, especially since I don't know what happened to my navy grenadine.

Kent Wang has some nice knits with pointed ends rather than square. I had been debating between their black knit or black grenadine.

Good tie.

And I concur with gdl.

I'd add that a shirt with a white ground and thin, faint blue stripes that don't overwhelm would also be a good complement.

Stitchy. Dude. No apologies necessary. I second the blue shirt recommendation. It's gonna look ****. Might I also recommend it with a medium/darkish gray suit? I love brown and gray together.
