This is the most recent in several Paul Stuarts to underperform. They;re officially off my pickup list.

:( That's a really nice suit!

No ****. Dual vent, too. And solid navy.

Looks like it has a hole in it, no? Plus pleated trousers. Doesn't seem all that crazy IMO.

Yes, tiny, but very reweavable. And see above re: everything it had going for it.

Pleats on suits is still the norm, no matter what #menswear says.

But #menswear has a "saying" for a reason...that carries over into many peoples minds of what they want to look like, and what they are wanting to buy.

I'd honestly think that the majority of buyers are looking for flat front trousers over pleats. The suit sale does seem a bit low, especially for the quality. But the brand and the pleats scream classic. Classic buyers want to buy items that are in near perfect condition. They probably don't know what a reweave is...Its unfortunate that those factors play a large roll in people committing to purchase, but I guess that is reality for that suit sometimes.

Like Brian said, I would of expected about 50+ for that suit even with the flaw, but there it goes.

Way behind on the threads (I won't even mention how much I need to read on the thrift thread) because I've been in sunny Idaho and, well, because the site still crashes Firefox. Question:

Yea or nay on Poland?

"I am interested in your orange Kiton 100% Cashmere jacket from this listing of yours ->

Would you consider to ship this lovely jacket to Poland with USPS First Class Mail Intl?
It would be about 30-40usd."

The guy has 77 feedback, all positive (one says that he bought never ended up paying for the item).

NO - Express + Insurance, declare full value or move on. Not worth it "getting lost" in the mail

Yes, I've had particular problems shipping First Class Int to Poland. Luckily, I won the Paypal case because I had a tracking number, but I'm pretty sure that the shirts I sent never actually showed up, and that poor guy was out $150. I felt bad for him, but I did what I could to make it right. He's the one who requested the cheaper shipping. Stick to your guns. What's the buyer's handle, btw? Just curious if it's the same dude.

Certainly repairable, just not sure if the average buyer wants to mess with that. Either way, if I tried to swing that suit with a hole I would definitely go BINOBO. I've had a DB Paul Stuart suit listed forever and haven't been able to get rid of it. That being said, most of the blazers seem to move pretty fast. I pass on PS shirts unless they're absolutely mint and attractive pattern/color and dirt cheap.
