Is your hair difficult to cut? Mine is easy because I have male pattern baldness, and so I just cut it really short.

When I am parting with people just before a break (such as Thanksgiving break, for example), they always say "Have a good break!" I am always caught off guard by this because I don't think of my breaks as breaks, but rather as opportunities to get work done more efficiently than usual. The split second delay in my response probably comes across as unnatural. This has happened so many times over the years that you'd think I'd learn, but I do not.

Nobody has responded to my letter (well..."letter"=facebook message to the offending page) about their appropriation of my photograph. To be fair, they also haven't posted anything since I sent the letter.

Apparently the girl broke her arm in the next day's race though...I'd feel bad if its her mom or something on the receiving end of my complaint (even though I just reminded them that it was not ok to use photos for those purposes without permission, said I would have certainly given my permission if asked, and requested that they credit the photo in the post).

That's really bad. Does the charity have a website and official email, or better telephone #? Don't say "you would certainly have said yes". Wait for their response. It's very unprofessional. Providing it for free for charity is great, but they can't just take it for granted. Also, they could write you a donation receipt (the money you could charge them for the picture) which you in turn can use to deduct from your taxes.. at least that's what -- simplified -- can work in Germany.
