Net-a-Face, legit check?

Thread Starter

Anyone ever heard of the online retailer Net-a-face.com? Want to buy a few things from there but never heard of them before. Anyone have experience with them?

I was ignoring this thread but I just stumbled upon this site myself through Google images.

Looks like bullshit to me. All the images are stolen from Ssense and elsewhere, they have full stock of old product, the prices are made up and then "marked down" to retail, etc etc.

Looks totally fraudulent.

They got a phone number. Country code +86. Which seems somehow familiar to me.

It's FAKE. I was in a hurry one mid-febuary and ordered something from there. I realized I was conned the minute I made my payment on PayPal. Tried to get hold of the seller. And of course not luck. I had to contact PayPal for a refund. Felt like an idiot, because I'm usually very careful and haven't been a victim of fraud before this. But I fell for it when I was in a rush and didn't pay attention. Basically it's FRAUD! I hope you were smarter than I was and didn't use the site.

Damn, was about to do a purchase.

I also made a purchase 2 weeks ago and have not received any email with any tracking information. Tried to contact Customer Service thru email but no response. When I paid thru Paypal, I thought it was strange that the "seller" had no contact address and name was not Net-a-face, Inc or something similar, but it was a foreign name. I am in the process of getting a refund from Paypal. Buyers please beware of this website.

Because it's here in China. Where jaywalking, bad driving, copyright infringement, trademark abuse, IP theft, fake Apple Stores and exploding watermelons are the national pastime.nod[1].gif

Hello,

My name is Ricky Joe Giaffreda and I handle Social Media & Public Relations at SSENSE - Canada's largest online luxury retailer.

We are working actively to shut down NET-A-FACE.com, in the mean time, please do not be susceptible to this website as it is fraudulent.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

Ricky Joe Giaffreda
