Romantic Europe meets NYC: the ROBERT GELLER thread - Page 67

I guess that's the first time that they never went through with production on a CPxGeller collab. Just not enough interest I guess?

The Fall 2012 shoes better go into production...

Less and less shops were carrying it I. Went from a ton of different places for F/W 10 to only two shops for F/W 11. I'd say it is sad because he tackles designs that Common Projects have been overlooking.

I'm a 44. Prices aren't cheap enough to risk trying to squeeze into a 43 either. Sigh.

I've seen them in person and wasn't crazy about them. The MMM version is much nicer. I kinda want those black monks, but I bought two pairs of shoes recently so I have to pass.

yeah i figured ... 100, even at sample price, makes them not that much retail so must not be great lol

42/43 only that sucks... why no 41

i dunno, even if that was just cost before markup that would put them at a pair of ~250 dollar shoes right? I figure its CP quality, which is [fairly] reliable?

I prefer MMM too but for 100 bucks this isnt a bad deal at all.

They aren't CP. They are simply Robert Geller. Not part of the collab.

So then do they fit TTS or size 1 down like CP
Those combats will be a nice replacement to my chelsea CP's
post #1003 of 5679
Yeah, those are definitely not CP. Pictures would indicate that the quality isn't all that great. I'm pretty sure it's made in China and while that doesn't always mean poorer quality, it does most of the time. Also, it's pretty indicative of it for Geller who almost always uses Japanese production. That said, they are only $100.

Retail cp is at least 350ish and mmm are at 400ish

So if these are 250ish retail I assume they are worse... Paying for label name with worse leather materials
