Rob - everything is a bit too similar in hue. I really like everything you are wearing, especially the shirt, but not together.

Vneck sweater and swap color/pattern of tie and shirt. I'm guessing the contrast is a bit higher than the photo shows, and though most guys are yelling washed out (which is valid for people with melanin) I like the light grey/beige/blue look.

NYR, I've never understood why you often roll up your trousers twice--the 2 inch (+?) cuff is your aesthetic choice (depends on your height, whether I agree with it or not)--why not get them cuffed properly at a tailors? IMO, it'd look much nicer! :)

My guess is that Rob likes the rolled cuff on the Epaulets...

IDK, it just looks like your trousers are too long, and it makes the cuff really heavy; therefore, pulling it down, and denting the trouser legs in (ruining the natural break), if that made any sense at all! :p But, hay, opinions spinions! :)

I agree with your opinion-spinion. Actually, though, I do the same thing with a lot of my casual pants. My excuse: too lazy to go to the tailor. :D

Thanks for the feedback guys...does seem a bit washed out on top, irl not as drastic.

Cuff is just a byproduct of laziness and wanting to wear and wash a few times before a trip to the tailor...

Wife is the art teacher, she takes the pics.

Backsliding, TKE. Dark shirts like that are challenging to pair with ties, and that combo doesn't work, IMO.

That would have been a fine casual look without the tie and the tie bar, which belong in a more formal fit. Also, the more white in a tie, the harder it is to pull them off.
