From a few days ago, after a concert.

I have had several opportunities to wear my new SuSu tux. It is the best fitting and best looking tux that I've ever owned. For the money, it is a great investment.

All the information is on the SuSu website. http://us.suitsupply.com/en_US/suits?prefn1=styleFit&prefv1=Evening-Tuxedo

In reply to your questions:
$569 (A year ago, it was about $100 less. I should have jumped, then.)
A couple of days. I ordered OTR. The coat required no adjustments. I just had to hem the trousers. I kept the waist a bit loose for the wearing of braces.
Super 110's wool from Vitale Barberis Canonic It has a rich, black tone to the color.

Thanks.

Thanks. Yes, according to the sales associate it was "last season." I don't recall seeing it in last year's line up either and a quick Google search didn't turn up anything. Interestingly, the store seemed to have at least one full run of sizes in this jacket.

The jacket is from 2012. The first Jort collection.

Can anybody help me: Is the Madison style slimmer than the Soho?

No, I've tried on both and they fit pretty much the same. The only thing I noticed is that the large lapels on the Madison makes the suit look less fitted if you're slim which is why I purchased a Soho instead but the suits honestly have no noticeable difference in fit.

Thanks for clearing thst up Jeroen. While I really like the Jort stuff I am a little disappointed by the lack of winter weight suits this time around. There's the tweed, but that's. It, and that is too loud for me.. I ould have been all over a simple grey flannel...

Thanks.

After my purchase, there was still a 38R, 40R and 42R on the floor. It sounded like there were several more in the stock room but I have no idea how many and what sizes.

Hi! May I ask how much it was? It looks extremely nice, congrats on the find!

Cheers!

Mystery solved. Thanks.

Thanks. Funny you should ask. The price tag indicated 599,00. I didn't notice the comma until after the jacket rung up at $899.00 on the register. Evidently, it still had the Euro price tag attached. Fortunately for me, they honored the $599.00 price since they had neglected to update the price tag. I don't think I would have made the purchase at the higher price. Also interesting to note the pricing difference for the jacket in the U.S. market - 599,00 EU at today's exchange rate of $1.27 equates to approximately $760.

Thanks for the reply! You scored big time, that Harris tweed looks like it could outlive us all.

For the ones interested suitsupply added the merano coat in burgundy to the EU webshop today. I just ordered it in size 98. Can post pictures if anybody would like to see it in action.
