I noticed it too, was sad to see it as well as there being no F/W double breasted suits yet either.

I sure hope I'll be able to get that pinstripe Madison in S/S though.

Have any of you purchased the navy peacoat?

If so, how have you found it to be warmth and thickness wise?

Two quick questions. They have definitely been answered before, but I could not find the answers by searching.

How much can you shorten the sleeves without going from the shoulder?

Are there any differences between the Lazio and Livorno except for lapel width and jacket length?

I've read cases of people changing sleeve lengths by a full inch.  I wouldn't do that.  I've had mine shortened and lengthened by 1/4" which isn't bad.  I don't know about the Livorno, but the Lazio has big lapels.

Not sure if it's taboo to post this here but I figure since you rarely see these suits for sale used that you guys would appreciate it. Also, shout out to the Madison Ave store in NYC. They helped me find the perfect sized suit for my oddly shaped body after much troubleshooting and experimenting.

You should price it more reasonably.  If you post that on the various sites too expensive it will go stale and it will be hard to get what it's worth.  You're realistically looking at $300 max and that's pushing it.

EDIT:  I just read the description.  With the alterations you've done it's going to be very hard to sell.  Lucky for you, it is Suitsupply which has what I think are ridiculously high resale prices.  I wish you the best, but it's going to be a tough sell.

I took your recommendation and adjusted the price. As for the tailoring, I didn't do anything that isn't reversible and at the end of the day, any new owner is probably going to want to make their own adjustments anyways but yeah, no adjustments would've been better i'm sure.

Many thanks! I'm still struggling with the longer length of the jacket given that I'm a short guy, but I'm coming around. It does fit quite well in the body. The unstructured shoulders are good for a summer-weight fabric but for a suit I think I will probably try the Lazio next, since I have a dropped shoulder and likely need some padding in there.

Hi,

I'm looking for information on the Mercer fit.

I have found a 36R Washington fits me well (only alteration needed was to let out the pants a little); however, I recently tried a Havana 36R and it was too tight (particularly the pants). It's odd since the measurements on their site would indicate the Havana should be looser?

Does the Mercer fit like the Havana? Are the pants just as tight?

Do you guys use the SuSu hangers or get your own?
