Serpentine has an incredible selection of Augusta right now: the boots mentioned above, the double zips, officer ankle boot (amazing), and the best derby I have seen from him (its a green/blue/grey, thick sole, rounded toe, horse leather). Unfortunately, they have no photos online, but I think if you email them they will send you pics. Also, I think their prices are a little better than HLorenzo.

The old Augusta's look to be of slightly higher quality than the ones made today, judging from the sole and the substantial leather...anyone comment?

depends on which season you are talking about, i have a ss12 backzip and its great, i've also handled his fw11 and fw12, quality is there, thick leather, thick sole etc

if you're referring to the augustas with the grey/slate laces yes, they really pop nicely in person.

those look awesome too!
