Pretty close to the ankle, especially considering the cut is angled which means when you wear them they bunch up quite a bit at the front.

Are you thinking about whether they would look good under trousers?

Carpe's are the the hard built, work horse. The older sister in the family. A little bit thicker in body and mind. All the elements that make up the younger, prettier sister (IS)are present in a rougher state: top notch leather, clean design, bulbous and upturned toe box. There's not much I don't find to be an improvement. Some of the leather choices that Carpe had haven't been available from IS yet, but there's some great options each season that either dont' get picked up in stores or noticed; the reversed shearling, 'ugly' cow, waxed calf, etc.

So I decided I wanted a lace-less boots rather than another cordovan boots from Alden :embar:

I am looking for a black side-zips/back-zips with not so bulky too slick toe box. Can someone point to me what brand/model I should look at if my budget is ~$800?

edit: dammit red bull :(

basically wjk's dressier cousin, made by the same guy, who worked at cdiem before (so he's legit).
i think i prefer wjk to jun's lineup as a whole but the design of the s21's are yeah...pretty much similar although not identical.

dig this one
