It looked like it was rotten leather. The scarring//treatment/whatever was way too overdone....
IMO, if you are looking to get a pair for full price, there are much better options. Check with Sartorialoft or PNP.
I just got a pair in, and mine look perfectly fine/ not rotten.

The boots I posted are those same boots- I just treated mine with Obenaufs and wore them for a day.

I just wish you wouldn't pollute the thread with bad info. It does a disservice to the community and makes it a less interesting place for me personally. Putting you on ignore is clearly the smart solution so going to do that.

Just to be clear and illustrate where I'm coming from, and I probably won't flash my hoarding/consumerism tendencies again, I am not jealous of you in any way for any reason.

Those look great! Do you guys know if layer-0s go ever on sale? I am wondering if iI should wait till say December or just pay retail now? (btw i am size 44)
These boots seems to be the best bang for the buck ( design/quality vs price) compared to Augustas ( I looove the new double zip wrinkle boot but 2k is waaaay out of my budget ) or MA+ and so i am seroiosly tempted to go ahead and get them now!

*worship* oh damn Abraxis! That's why I was never able to find a pair of the Avantindietro unearthed boots. You hogged them all buddy!!! I remember being a couple emails too late behind you.

Went to SF last week and checked out the stuff at Downtown Shop and Archive....
Only thing left at Downtown Shop were these Layer-0 backzips. The leather looked gross...
700
Archive had some good A1923. Really liked these:
700
Only 2350 :D
There were some Guidi and M.A+ also in the stores. The giant Guidi bag in green at Downtown shop was nice; wonder if it comes in a smaller size.....

Surprising to hear that about those Layer-0 boots. Those A1923 look really really good though. Such a shame about the price, I would be all over them if they were lower. I doubt I'd ever be able to find them for close to ~$1k even used.

sinnedk reminds me of those white kids who start martial arts because they watch too much anime. He's the kid who flaunts his limited knowledge of japanese, does those exaggerated anime style kamaes, and desperately seeks acceptance from his asian peers who have been doing said martial arts since they were little.

This is beyond marsupialed, even for you.

sinned is flaunting his knowledge? What, exactly, separates someone from disseminating and sharing what they know with flaunting their knowledge? This side of SF - SW&D - sorely lacks much knowledge, and is instead either a cocksucking contest about who has the dopest knits or a pissing contest about who can put down someone else in a more vicious way. Sinned is not unlike anyone else who chose to focus on a topic, learn about it, digest it, and then share his thoughts and knowledge with others.

is a mcdojo a dojo?

moo, you don't even know half of what goes on around in sw&d. you're too focused on the trolling and you miss the plethora of actual information available. the majority of the posters in sw&d just don't have the patience to repeat themselves for every single noob who comes in with their special flower threads and questions. and frankly, you're mentally too old to really be enjoying sw&d. go back to raising your kid and focusing on your job. at least you seem to be doing that a lot better at that than at trolling and picking what you wear.

you are an idiot. nahneun i think you have an issue with asians after your dumb post.

Moo is right, sw&d are like a bunch of little girls most of the time (save for a few cool gents). I never get this kind of bs on the MC side. Seriously, grow a pair and stop wetting your panties.

Oh, another SWD person bringing my personal life into an argument, using backhanded compliments and direct insults. When do the discussions with you guys become interesting and challenging, instead of ridiculous playground banter from which you, and other SWD people so desperately try to distance yourselves?

I'll take this as a formal acceptance of your complete ineptitude at discussing... anything.

Do you want to talk about Pokemon instead, maybe? Is that more up your alley?
