Hi guys,

I need a little advice.

I am about ready to pull the trigger on a pair of Cordovan CCP derbies from The Office.

But this seller in Berlin has the same pair, used of course, but I think he'd sell them straight up for his starting price (a little under $700 shipped).

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=141259556923

Would you guys take the plunge and start fresh with this type of shoe or go with this already broken in pair. He claims they're bigger than a regular 9 but our feet are the same length.

Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It comes down to your cash flow. If money is not an object then always new. But, if you want a deal then used in good condition is a great alternative. New derbies are about $1400 so saving $700 is no small chunk of change. Ask to see the sole pics of the derbies on ebay.

Never seen a CCP derby with white interior and white insole. Not saying they aren't legit, but the insides of mine are black as are the nailed down insoles.
Unless they are a really old model that I haven't seen before.
CCP are object dyed so not sure how you have a different colour interior unless it's down to serious serious wear and incredibly sweaty feet.

Thanks for that nudge. I think I'll go with play A (new) and not regret this like I can see myself regretting it.

usual source, as I said before. You know. Y.

As all 52/61/63 they got some volume in front, so could run large, but only if you got skinny feet and proper instep.
These boots are mercilessness.

Thx. I have wide feet so sz. 44 should be good. Unfortunaly Y rarely has this kind of sizes...
