You might be in luck if the new season InAisce boots still run a ~size small and you don't have narrow as well as short feet. I had the Striders in a 41 and with insole and very, very thick socks they were only a little loose.

IIRC, there was a pair of C Diem 7 holes in 39 on SuFu recently. You can also place a special order with PNP for Layer-0 for that size; turnaround is pretty quick.

yeah i've seen that one since its initial listing, but being 5'6", i worry about how high the 7 holes would be on me.

I'm the same height and don't mind boots that high. Only really an issue if you plan on tucking most of the time (though I think that looks fine too).
