Versace Pour Homme or Dolce & Gabbana The One for an Interview?

Those are the only two colognes I have. Which one smells more professional and would be more appropriate?

My recommendation is no scent at all.

But if you have to, then I say one spray of Versace to the chest under your shirt. IIRC, it's a lighter citrus type scent less likely to offend. I see The One as more of an "evening out" type fragrance.

Very easy to offend with scents, no matter how popular they may be.

layer both all over

even as a cologne interested person, IMO this one's like humour... you have more downside than upside. Don't wear anything and therefore don't worry about anything.

No cologne.

I wouldnt hire you if you came to an interview wearing cologne.

I agree with everyone who has advised you not to wear any fragrance. The potential downside is huge (for example, if it gives the interviewer a headache, or worse) and the potential upside is practically nothing. Best to just play it safe.

Yea I never wear cologne to an interview either. Just make yourself look presentable. (shower, shave, fix your hair)

No cologne. And frankly, no cologne in the workplace, either. It offends more people than it impresses.

Skanky chicks at Jersey style clubs. And some various regional breeds of sorostitutes. That's about it.

Agreed. both of those are synthetics with sillage.

I mean, wearing a spritz of tabac blond is one thing, or TDC Osmanthus, but either of the ones listed would send me a BAD signal.

If he came in wearing Eau d'hermes, however, HIRED.

Follow the overwhelming majority and wear no cologne.

Following the heard, I almost always dislike a fragrance on a man and even on a woman if it's overpowering.
It's one of those things that come under the category of less is more.
