I recently bought something with an Old Navy tag and it didn't disintegrate in the wash. I think its a fake.

ask the seller to send photos of the actual item (it does seem to come in that color) if they refuse. don't buy. also go through comments to see if any other customers bought the item and what they had to say about it.

If you check for fakes...always go for the price tags. This looks like a pretty real price tag. Type in the code on the price tag into google and see if it fits the coat!

Is this Lacoste Polo fake?



Found this on the bay. There are other photos. The croc patch is placed correctly, and the buttons seem to be MOP, but I am not sure about this tag. The fact that it says "Made in France" and is not a Chemise Lacoste polo makes me think it's fake, but I'm not sure what the early ones made during Lacoste's "comeback" when they were still made in France

I only have one Lacoste polo that I purchased several years ago at Nordstrom and it says "Designed in France" and "Made in Peru." I don't know what the exact labeling would be nowadays.
