Then Drake's really need to use your pics, I wouldn't buy those from the site but the way you showed them? Magical.

Also, maybe it's because you are seated but their standard width/length ties are no bueno for me. The 9cm/158cm section is limited.

Thanks for the kind words. Either 8 or 9 cm is fine for me. 7 cm is too narrow for my taste

Just speaking truth. I will have to look into these magical ties. I particularly like the fact that they have a matte finish but are still optically pleasing/intriguing. Thx.


But the Drakes ties I own are slim (guessing 7cm) so I have to wear them with the smaller blade showing to add some width.

Nah, too much effort to be expended. I view ties as write-offs. Similar to how I liken dress shirts to undershirts-you wear them and when they start to yellow, you retire them. That's why I never spend more than, say $40 on a tie. The few [RLPL ties] I have spent $50 on I've given away without wearing them once. Ed is waiting for all of my contract collared shirts to yellow smile.gif

Sub was on a Friday with a more casual sport coat outfit (I sometimes wear my Radiomir as well on Fridays).

The other two are not sport watches - they're on the smaller side and are steel dress watches

Yep, Ed definitely needs to post more silky goodness on teh Panta website. Come on, Ed!


Re: Drake's - I can't do the 7cm width, either, and I am frustrated that the vast majority of their ties are so narrow. I e-mailed Drake's about it a while back, and asked if they had any 8-9cm ties that they were hiding, and I received a response that stated that because narrow ties were popular at present, they were concentrating on 7cm for the time being.

Yes, I know that they do have some wider ties in the "long" section of their website, but they are all too long for me!
