I'm at home with a cold. Actually, most days I probably don't break $175, including shoes.

This reminds me of an article about school kids in either Hong Kong or Japan where they brag to each other on how much their emsemble cost.

They would show their clothing labels to each other and proudly announce their prices (similar to what Hermes Man does in his blog according to those who follow it)

Kids with higher totals would feel smug and look down on those with lower totals.
