I wondered the same thing when I read that this morning.

Well, they do lead the MLB in team batting average at .306 and are third in runs and rbis....

For a pitcher it can be devestating. Pitchers get a lot of their power from their legs when the pitch, Roger Clemens was said to have incredible leg strength, his morning work outs were quite intense (So the stories go). There are no questions about elbows or shoulder injuries, but a pitchers legs are equally important. If those get weak there goes a lot of velocity.

^Sure, but usually an injury description is a bit more....descriptive? Knee or ankle? Quad, hamstring or calf? Bruise, tear, or sprain? Etc.

Dead Leg! I've heard of Dead Arm, but this could be the first case of Dead Leg.

I really miss Coco Crisp.... I remember watching the him play live a lot in 2007 and 2008 and he made some breathtaking plays...

he does this thing with his fingers while at bat.. he kind of flutters them... I remember Remy with a thiiiiicckk boston accent once said: "there's coco's patented fingering of the bat"

yup this is his current hair:

Who the **** would pay 20 mil a year for .091 production? Even at his best hes a .270 hitter with above average defense. Okay... besides the Jays and the Angels, the Mets probably would.......

Up till now he's been more like a .280 guy with
25-30 HRs and at least 80 RBIs. I was thinking Fantasy, where my mind is always at...

Tommy Hunter had a good year last year but his stuff is hardly major league calibre. He'll drop off.

Uh...The Giants might have a bit to say about that. They had A LOT to say about it last year. Good pitching beats good hitting, and SF's is better. No one can dispute the big 4, but Philadelphia's bullpen is ****.

As of today the Phils' 'pen has the lowest ERA in the MLB. Source: http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/team/_/...hing/split/128
