Medtech beautiful jacket. I like the trim look. Looking forward to meeting Mina next week in San Francisco to start on a jacket. Your photos are helpful. Thanks for posting them.

Agreed. I like the lapel and gorge height.

Now, I realize that this is a place to nitpick the minutiae of men's clothing, but can you honestly say that if you saw the op walking down the street in these clothes, that you wouldn't find him to be a well turned out gentleman?

I think everything looks great, especially in the context in which it has been posted.

You're having a party for all the NSM clients coming in that week right? What time should the wife and I arrive and what's the dress code?

You are making too much of what I said. Ed posted a pic, I didnt like a couple of aspects of it and pointed it out without malice. He took it well. I dont see the issue.

I generally like Mina's work (from SF pics) except that she likes the gorge too high and her pants are quite fitted.

While I do agree that I prefer a slightly lower gorge and a slightly roomier fit, I have to say that both outfits look spectacular. I do not see people dressed this well on the street.

What he said.

medtech: do not change the height of the collar - looks spot on. I hate short collars.

I think medtech's outfits are a good example of Mina's house style - stylized, sharp and clean and not drapish like the older Rubinacci's offering. A bit aggressive perhaps but one that I like.

I agree with Grammaton above - I don't know why you'd want to change the collar height on that Finamore.

I agree with ed on the collar - looks the points, their angle and how they're not sitting well on his chest. Need to be longer and likely lower as well.

For my next coat (possibly a sale e pepe), I may experiment with slight adjustments to the gorge and lapels while maintaining a trim cut - I'm curious to see how this will turn out.

Am also working with Mina on a SB with peak lapels (part of a 3-piece in wool/mohair). I have a forward next week on a 3-piece Loro Piana PoW and the next fitting of my prova shirt.

I just got my first non-point-and-shoot camera - a Lumix gf1 - so will take some pics.
