Quantitative Analysis of Political Data - In theory, a class that attempts to quantify qualitative political data/statistics, come up with models, etc. The reality, though, was a way for social scientists to justify themselves and their research/study to the actual scientists, i.e. mathematicians, statisticians, chemists, physicists, etc. In other words, it was an attempt to make political science seem more like a "real" science, rather than a major that people chose because the hard sciences, were, well, too hard.Originally Posted by Kyoung05
I took Stats for Behavior and Social Science majors this summer at Community College to clear a pre req... The combination of it being at Community College and it being a math class for SOCIAL SCIENCE majors made it perhaps, the biggest joke class in existence.
